The first action scene has Halloween-masked members of the Cosmos gang attacking a man and snatching his briefcase. The somewhat eccentric figure of the journalist who turns up at the editorial meeting may remind European viewers of Fantomas and The Pink Panther, especially given that the Cosmos gang steals jewels and kidnaps the grandchild of the owner of a department store chain. Bullets cannot halt the onrush of the saviour, Dragon Superman, indeed, he is even impervious to a flamethrower. His dozens of armed attackers are put down with bare knuckles alone. The second part continues in a magical Japanese garden. The gang negotiates a swap of Inca treasure for Jing, the abducted grandchild of the store owner. The theatrical and airborne scene is ample proof of the comic talent of the filmmakers.
